I started almost 60 years ago, as a youngster (like many others), building Airfix kits - tanks, soldiers, aeroplanes, etc. From this I progressed to model railways. I also enjoyed military modelling - vehicles, wargames and model soldiers - creating dioramas and vignettes. I have also created model boats and horse-drawn vehicles. For many years I created model buildings and scenery for Pendon Museum - probably the finest example of 4mm scenic and railway modelling in the country.

My professional experience includes 12 years of designing electronics and control systems and 15 years in IT, software development and computer graphics including creation of computer 3D models, animations and video editing.
