This is a description of the techniques used by Malcolm to create realistic brick, stone, tile and slate finishes on the exteriors and interiors of the model buildings he produces. The description covers the use of brick impress moulds and DAS to create bricks, etc., techniques for producing timber framing and weathering of the buildings.
